DESCRIPTION:The new Ultra-Gate38 is a 38mm external wastegate for street and racing applications. Designed with minimum size and maximum flow in mind, the new Ultra-Gate38 is smaller and lighter than the previous model and features Turbosmart’s unique locking collar design for quicker spring changes and a one piece, stainless steel valve.

APPLICATION: Suitable for all turbocharged vehicles with an external wastegate turbo system. Street and racing applications. Flanges suit 1.50” outside diameter pipe.

DESCRIPTION: Turbosmart’s brand new 40mm external wastegate was designed to fit into tight engine bays while still offering superior flow and heat handling capabilities. The revolutionary new actuator housing is 25% smaller than our current range and allows for easy spring changes and gives the ability to index the cap orientation in 12 different positions.

DESCRIPTION: Completely redesigned for 2011, the new Hyper-Gate45 is a 45mm external wastegate designed with minimum size and maximum flow in mind. Smaller and lighter than the previous model, the new Hyper-Gate45 features a unique locking collar design for reduced size and quicker spring changes.

APPLICATION:Suitable for medium-large capacity engines with medium frame turbochargers systems. Street and racing applications. Suits 1.75” outside diameter pipe. Fits all popular 44mm flanges.

Breather Filter

Modern car engines are designed to return the crankcase fumes back into the engine normally via the air intake system and into the inlet manifold. The problem with this is that oily fumes can contaminate the air-fuel mixture causing the car to run poorly. This can also lead to high fuel and oil consumption and smoky exhausts.

The solution is to fit a Pipercross breather filter that takes the fumes away from the engine completely however this is not always the best situation and may be illegal on road vehicles in some countries/states. Another style of crankcase filter can be fitted inline with the breather system and fumes are only returned into the engine once the oil residue has been trapped by the filter.
